Academic Program

We have created the structure of Kiddie Den based on the developmental stages that children go through as they grow up. We strive to create an environment that is instrumental to the mental and physical growth of the child. Our HSE curriculum is designed in such a way that the child grows to be malleable and adaptable to every education system.

LITERACY

Formation and recognition of letters using phonics, creative writing, reading, free communication, vocabulary, fluency and accuracy in expression and speaking and listening with concentration interest and ability to carry out instruction., We also emphasize on developing interpersonal skills and questions/curiosity.

 

NUMERACY

Participation in the practical activities in connection with recognition, writing, ordering, number concept and rote counting of numbers, math games and puzzles. Of activities that include sorting, matching, shapes and colors, comparing and ordering addition and subtraction in connection with everyday routine.

Experiential Learning

We aim on laying the foundation for geography, history, science and technology. It aims at building up awareness of the world around , the environment people and features of natural and the man made world.

Activities

Permeates the whole school curriculum. It is concerned with the skills and attitudes that enable the child to develop a strong sense of their own worth and become successful members of society .It is important for the child’s development and has an impact on their ability to learn. Lot of activities are aimed at developing the gross motor skills and fine motor skills through structured indoor and outdoor activities.

ART AND CRAFT

Expressing and creating idea, feelings and imagination as well as having opportunities to enjoy the manner of sounds ,sights, shapes, and textures are vital parts of the young child’s development. Children learn to investigate and use a variety of media and techniques such as painting, drawing, printing and play dough modeling clay and other materials.

EVALUATION

The assessment is based on classroom observation. Monthly photographs of your child performing at school will be sent by email. End of term PTM is for parents to marvel at their child’s achievements.

  6. Musical Zone (45 mins): This zone includes activities that focuses on developing Instruments, rhythm, movements, tone/pitch, auditory skills, Kinesthetic skills
